{"id":636,"date":"2009-09-01T11:34:01","date_gmt":"2009-09-01T11:34:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.aideautomotive.com\/?p=636"},"modified":"2009-09-01T11:34:01","modified_gmt":"2009-09-01T11:34:01","slug":"brakecheck-for-heavy-vans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aideautomotive.com\/articles\/brakecheck-for-heavy-vans\/","title":{"rendered":"BrakeCheck For Heavy Vans"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Heavy Vans Have the Worst MOT Past Rate in the UK<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">It has been recently reported that heavy vans have the worst MoT pass rate of any vehicle type seen on UK roads.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Data from the UK&#8217;s Vehicle and Operator Services Agency show vans between 3.0 and 3.5 tonnes had failure rate 44.7%, the worst of any vehicle in the year 2007-2008.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Stephen Coles, head of the RMIF&#8217;s MoT technical operations says that high failure rate clearly shows a lack of maintenance.\u00a0\u00a0&#8220;Owners may not realise that prevention could be cheaper than cure in the long run.\u00a0\u00a0This means that with correctly targeted marketing, commercial vehicle repairers could generate new business.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aideautomotive.com\/products\/commercial_workshop\/brakecheck.php\">BrakeCheck<\/a>\u00a0has been used for many years to test commercial vehilces, used to prove a brake performance standard every 6 weeks on safety inspections,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aideautomotive.com\/products\/commercial_workshop\/brakecheck.php\">BrakeCheck<\/a>\u00a0is cost effective and very easy to use.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Heavy Vans Have the Worst MOT Past Rate in the UK<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-636","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news","entry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v20.4 -
