Fuel theft increases with High Fuel Prices

This Christmas motorists are facing the highest ever fuel prices after diesel recently hit 5p a gallon. Similarly Diesel has increased nearly 12p a litre from its low price in January 2009 reaching an average of 110p a litre. As fuel prices rise and it becomes a valuable commodity so do the cases of fuel theft increase. Companies with a fleet of vehicles are an easy target for thieves wanting to steal fuel, especially over the Christmas period when the fleet are parked up and not in use.
