Diesel Theft Is More Rif Than Ever Before
Fuel theft is ever more prominent with high fuel prices at the pumps and in Derby three men are caught.
Three men from Derby aged 26, 28 and 38, have been arrested after police officers noticed their car behind a truck in a lay-by off the A38 between Ripley and Alfreton at 1.20am on Thursday 14 April.
The police followed the car and stopped it. Inside they found two barrels of diesel in the boot and another on the back seat.
The accused trio have been bailed to appear at court at a later date.
