12 Volt Tow Bar, Trailer & Caravan Lights Tester

TestaTow is a 12 Volt portable Trailer Wiring Tester for small Semi Trailers such as Ifor Williams, horse box, Agricultural trailers & Caravans.

TestaTow is supplied in two options, standard and then the Agri TestaTow.

The Agri TestaTow has the added feature of an ISO ABS warning light test, modern agricultural trailers operating Automatic Braking Systems have a circuit to the towing vehicles dash, where a warning light is displayed to notify the driver if the brake system is faulty or not.

TestaTow will also test the towing bar of a vehicle on 13 pin or 7 pin socket tow bar versions.

Supplied in a tough lid opening carry case, the TestaTow will test caravans, trailers and the tow bar from a car/van.

This Trailer Wiring Tester 12 Volt TestaTow is the professionals choice, portable and well constructed the 12 Volt TestaTow quickly tests any trailer without the need of a vehicle or battery. No more carrying car batteries around and DIY wire connections. Built in a ergonomic housing TestaTow also test caravans with a fridge battery circuit.

TestaTow has a radio remote control for vehicle walk round testing and visual rear towing vehicle inspection.

To make TestaTow the one stop towing tester, we have incorporated a Tow Bar Test, with 13 pin and a 7 pin socket. Tow Bar Testing is now part of the statutory MOT test.

Ifor Williams recommend – “For trailers that receive heavy, daily use (such as commercial or plant) it is recommended that a service is carried out once every 6 months or so”

3 Connectors mounted of the face plate, 1. 13 pin trailer connector, 7 pin trailer connector and Tow bar connector.

TestaTow has a manual on / off switch with a sleep mode function, testing lights via an automatic sequence (walk round) test or individual single power circuit diagnostic test, the TestaTow also has a Caravan Fridge current test.

TestaTow can also test for bad wiring earths, operating the Brake Lights and Indicators at the same time will easily prove a bad earth if the indicator lights dim when powered with the brake lights. The NTTA (National Trailer & Towing Association) request this test when training members on trailer servicing.

Testing a vehicles tow bar, the TestaTow has a 13 pin lead to connector (option to buy 13 pin to 7 pin adaptors for older style tow bars) the test can be performed by one person, lights, indicators and so on.

TestaTow will also have the accessory of a Radio Remote Control, activating circuits while at the rear of the trailer saves leg time!

Powered by internal batteries the TestaTow is supplied with a mains charger.

TestaTow can be used by large fleet companies such as facility management to a single caravan / agricultural maintenance engineer.
