So, the location is now known but what after 48 hours? the location is still the same but if the trailer is powered a GPS ping is then sent and the trailers location can be tracked efficiently.

Having the ability to view a trailers location with only a few mouse clicks will give a manager the edge over any potential theft or unassigned moment, GEO Fencing of VOR  / parked trailers will confirm that a trailer was stolen, the tracking system will make it simple to follow the trailer.
